Cirque du Soleil in the tea. The creative project of my dream.
Promoting the T.O by Lipton tea machine’s unique ability to identify the type of tea inserted and brew accordingly for the optimum time and at the ideal temperature, the film features Cirque du Soleil performers, each representing different flavours of tea, who dance with organic and flowing movement in water, creating a visually powerful impression of the machine’s processes.
The effect is that of entering the machine, and its unique brew orb, itself.
As well as the machine’s technical innovations, the way it looks and the aromas it creates are a vital part of the product design, creating a multisensory experience. The film continues the emphasis on these qualities by heightening the visual drama: the performers’ colourful costumes had rigging inside them, which released dye and streams of bubbles in the water, effects that were captured in-camera.
