Penso che questo sia uno dei momenti più belli della mia vita. E l’ho pensato quando, finito di fotografare, ci siamo seduti a raccontare le nostre storie di gusti, di vitigni e di sapori a sorpresa. Sto facendo quello che ho sempre sognato di fare. Team Gorgelous a Casina Valadier, per fotografare il food dello chef Massimo D’Innocenti, su cui scommetto una stella. Perchè Massimo non solo è una persona carinissima, ma cucina benissimo ed è molto esigente in termini di qualità degli ingredienti e passione per la filiera del gusto. E io di ristoranti uno, due, tre stelle Michelin ne ho frequentati parecchi. Una giornata di allegria, sperimentazione, storie, segreti non segreti e un pranzo cucinato apposta per noi. Mille foto con luce naturale, che prende i colori di tutto l’orizzonte di Roma. Da quella finestra l’Altare della Patria, il Gasometro, le nuove torri dell’Eur, San Pietro e Paolo, il Palazzo di Giustizia, San Pietro, Monte Mario, uno sguardo e abbracci tutte le cose più belle di Roma. Non ci sono altri posti così. E allora iniziamo a pensare ad un bel libro in cui ogni storia sia un sapore, ogni foto sia uno sguardo, ogni gesto sia sapienza. Iniziamo a pensare.
I think this is one of the best moments of my life. And I realized it when, finished the shooting, we sat and started telling our stories of tastes, wine and gorgelous flavors. I am now doing what I’ve always dreamed of doing. Team Gorgelous at Casina Valadier to shoot the food of the chef Massimo D’Innocenti, I bet a star on him. Because Massimo is not only a very nice person, but a great chef, very keen on quality of the ingredients he uses and deep passion for genuine tastes.
